Normally I keep my hispida packed in dry ice. I have 2 pair and they seem to thrive at these temps. Hope this helps.

Snakes thriving packed in dry ice?! Can someone please explain what this is all about?? I'm sure others must be wondering the same thing. (There are no stupid questions, right?) Thanks in advance.

The Previous answer was only in jest. I have had several Hispida in tha past few years and have come to the conclusion that they do best in the freezer. but please don't think it wasn't for lack of trying. Hispida is by far my favorite snake and I hope that someday someone in tha states will make captive progress with this species as I do love them so!!!
