Locals in the Yucatan of Mexico have a snake they call a "four nostril" snake. Any idea what kind of snake this is? Could it be a fer de lance? they say many people out in the villages are biten and become extremely sick or even die from the bite. Amny locals keep pigs in their yards to chase these snakes away. What ever help you provide is appreciated.

That can be any pit viper around that area. Bothrops are known to be around villages, and their bite is nasty. They kill a lot of people in Central and South America.
