Description: Known as the Green pitiviper in Sri Lanka, this specimen of Trimeresurus trigonocephalus was photographed near tea plantations in the central highlands. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of places where they can still be found in great numbers. While their bite is quite painful, this is considered a non-lethal species.
