Description: The scenery in the central highlands of Sri Lanka is quite breathtaking. Notice that the mountainside appears to have neatly trimmed greenery. These are the tea plants that were imported when Sri Lanka was a British colony. The mountains here are COVERED with tea plantations, and the tea workers most commonly are bitten by the Green pitviper hiding amongst the tea bushes.
