Description: During a 3 day side trip to Chennai, India, we hooked up with the Irula snake hunters and watched them work. Our man, Sanath in the SHHS shirt (pronounced San-ot) displays a Russell's viper that the Irula (center) pulled out of a hedge row. Villagers living in thatched huts were within seeing distance of this location. Roy Malleappah from California (left) looks on.
