Description: Yes, that's me, Russell Schokman and Anslem de Silva eating pizza in Kandy. I have to say that Kandy was an oasis in the middle of that country. I suppose the main reason that it's so developed is because the tooth of Buddha is kept there in the most important Buddhist shrine in the world called appropriately, "The Temple of the Tooth". We had been in the field for several days when we passed through Kandy and saw the Pizza Hut. Several people yelled "STOP THE BUS!!!" It's the only Pizza Hut I've ever been to that had "mutton pizza".
