dont even bother you obviously dont really care about snakes by the way you talk about jut getting rid of it when you want you probably will still try to do this anyway i just hope u dont end up as another stat that makes the rest of us look bad sorry if that aint what you wanted hearbut at least get a captive bred native snake and dont end up getting bitten.

I gota agree with the other person on this...
Any time you catch an animal an keep it as a pet you are fully responcible for the creature. Doesn't mater if its a day or 15 years. Some people like to catch a snake, observe it for a day or so then release it this is not the same thing as catching a snake, keeping it for a long period of time an then decidin one moring, well i am tired of this sooo back out in the back yard it goes.
it DOES NOT work that way!
When you keep that animal you aclimate it to captive life. Meaning it begins to see humans as a food scource etc. Also Captive animals retintroduced back into the wild can risk infecting other wild animals in their natural habbitats with desiese.
Please do yourself an the rest of us a favor an do NOT get a snake if your not in it for the long run! Keep in mind that a snake can live for 10+ years depending on species! Do your research! If your not gonna make a full commitment then go to wallie world or the dollar store, buy yourself a rubber snake, an call it good.....
please put serious thought into this!
