ahh prolaps suck. if you can find a vet to take care of it thats what I would do, but that would probably be pretty hard to do. my female chondro had one last summer. what I did was gave her a bath of salt water which dehydrates the tissue making it shrink. sometimes it will shrink enough to go back in its self. but I had to manually push everything back in. so give it a very salty bath for a few hours, get a restraining tube since its venomous, push all the tissue back in, tape the vent with masking tape so nothing falls back out, wait about a week to take the tape off, wait about a month to feed. thats what I did, and my girls still alive today about a year later. hope that helps.

Vidal,
Put the snake through a clear restaining tube, and put Preparation H on the prolapse. It works every time. I have done it with Chondros and Emeralds with a 90 percent success rate. I have a ton of venomous in my collection, mostly Cobras and Rattlesnakes, and have only had to use the Preparation H once. I have had to use it in the past with a few young Eyelash Vipers. Let me know how it works out for you.
Good Luck,
Chris
