Hi :
There are few human parasitic diseases associated with reptiles. snakes are important as a scorce of human infection with parasites . most infections are assiciated with the habit of eating raw or un cooked snakes in some areas of the world. There are a few diseases that humans can acquire with snakes:
SPARGANOSIS.
MESOCESTOIDES LINEATUS
NEODIPLOSTOMAISIS
ALARIA MARCINEA
FIBRRICOLA CRATERA
GNATHOSTOMA SPINIGERUM
AND PENTASTOMIASIS.
These are some of the ones i have heard of.
scorces of infection may include ingestion of raw meet , ingestion of water that contains larva, in korea most cases are because of eating frogs or snakes. And also using frog muscle emulsions
for eye drops.
Prevention is just by avioding eating raw snakes , drinking untreated water from springs , and avoiding using a poultice made with raw snake or frog .
HOPE THIS HELPS.
SHAUN
