Rumor has it that someone from Rentiesville Oklahoma, (I don't know if i spelled rentiesville correctly)
Someone caught a *5 lb rattlesnake that was 13 ft long give or take. I am thinking Bull Crap. No way. but i intend to waste my time and look into it.

5 lbs isn't very much for a 13 foot rattlesnake. I'm thinking BS too but check it out and let us know. 13 feet is awful long for any species of rattler.

If someone did find a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake that was 13 feet long, 85 LBS would be about right. I have seen a WDB that was 7' 9" in South Texas, (not including rattles), and it weighed in at 34 LBS. A real monster. It would be surprizing though if a 13 food rattlesnake actually did exist. Jimmy, let us know if you find any more info. JohnZ
