EDB growth in captivety

I have an EDB I caught last year . He was about 14 -16 inches long and his diameter was the size of an nickle
(coin). Now almost one year from the capture . He is almost 3 foot long . I would say 2' 6" long. Not to mention he had two buttons when I found him and now he has five. He is almost golfball size where he is thickest. Is he growing normally he's just starting to eat small rats. Last Saturday I captured and relocated
an 3 to 3and a half footer . Now , he had five buttons and almost the size of my wrist. He was thick..
Will my Edb get that way eventuly.

He seems to be growing fine. As long as you keep him real warm and feed him good, nature will do the rest. He will get huge!!! Just keep dooing what you are doing and in no time he will be 5 or 6 ft.
