A 25 year old man died after being bit by a neonate timber rattlesnake. Bobby Don Womack was attempting to catch it and it bit him and apparently it hit an artery. He lived in Purdy Oklahoma.
47 year old James Cave was bitten 4 times by two different types of snakes. and survived. He was wearing sandals and shorts. he was "puttering around"
near a garage about 100 feet from their home. He felt a sharp pain in his foot he reached down and a pigmy rattlesnake sank 1 fang in his hand. after biting his foot. then he fell backward over a barrel and landed on a copperhead. It bit once on the right foot then once in the groin. Unbelievably he survived. I am amazed that he lives. He is from Tecumseh Oklahoma

People really underestimate to lethality of Horridus & Helleri bites. They are the majority of the Snakebite fatalities in a typical year. They have a serious systemic bite effect whereas other domestic hots have major local effects: Atrox is a good example.
