Richard: Yep, you have found out about one of the very best areas of Texas to hunt. So dont` tell too many folks, and go out there and have fun. All of the farm roads and connecting roads there are good, as are many of the rocky cliff areas along the roads. It is rugged country, and the timing and atmospheric and temperature conditions have to be right for the snakes to be out crossing the roads, but if you are at the right time, you will find reptiles and amphibians. When I say conditions, I do mean it. You can hunt there at the wrong time or conditions, or the wrong way, and see nothing. Or you can hunt there at the right time when they are mooving, and see a bunch. Just dont` post your success on a site like Field Herps. Best Regards JohnZ
