I will be in South Fla in Oct..near Miami..Was hoping to get a chance to hunt a little out between Miami and Naples..Havent been in that area in almost 25 years was wondering if Loop rd still exsists?..And what changes are going on in that area..I just herp for photos..not collecting..anyone on this board familiar with this area.?? any current info would be greatly appreciated..Thanks..

I herp loop road every DEC and it is still lots of fun.Mostly Pigmy's, cottons, and everglade rats.

Took a quick run on Loop Rd about 2 weeks ago...it has changed significantly in the last 25 years, however, it's still a great habitat along the full length. Have fun...post some pics !

Good to hear from you to, Aaron..give me a call or write me..Got lots to tell you ..caught some nice stuff this year..just got back from Honduras..gotta tell you about that..and Earlier this year I was in Costarica (as usual) but I slipped up into Nicaragua on the San juan..got some cool herp stories and photos ..just drop me a line.
