The most obvious deference between the two, would probably be the presence of Dark Borders on the Cross Bands of the Trans- Pecos Copper. If my recollection is correct, the other deference would be the well-defined Belly Markings on the Trans- Pecos Copper. Hope this helps some. I will check and see if I can find any other differences, ill get back to you on them if you like....................................Be safe ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

I done a little more research and found one other noticeable deference. The Cross Bands on a Trans- Pecos Copper have a light colored, upside-down “U” shape near the Belly. It seems to be the same color as the Background of the Snakes. According to what I found, the Broad- Banded Copper has one solid colored Cross Band. Hope this info helps you out, take care.......Be safe ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally
