Are they doing the National Reptile Breeder Show this year? I knew that the stoped the venomous but I didn't know if they are not doing the non-venomous.

I'll go ahead and throw in a question I've been meaning to ask.
At the big reptile show in Orlando a few weeks ago, an employee of one of the two vendors there selling hots told me that they had changed their mind and had decided to do a venomous section at Daytona again this year. Has anyone else heard this? Was he halucinating/confused?

I hadn't heard that, Larry.
But just to close the loop, I'll go ahead and email Wayne Hill and ask him.
I'll post his response here.

Wayne's reply:
Karl,
I canceled the ven show. I would have advertised it if it was to happen. I have used the 2nd floor to expand the Expo. Thanks
Wayne
No venomous. Just a bigger expo.

Well, if the show is going to be like the show in Orlando a couple of weeks ago, you are better off to stay at home. It was a good FIRE expo if you like ball pythons, geckos, and chamelons. Another words, the show was very disappointing. Bryan

but don't you know, hots are more dangerous than guns...that's why so many of our "pets" kill others.....just like guns do

I think it is more like ... The Daytona show is an established show and the guy who runs it didn't feel that it was worth his to time to make the kind of concessions he had to make to have venomous which are not his cup of tea to begin with.
Just my guess.
Venomous are not for everyone and to give him his due, he did try it for a couple of years.
