I deleted two posts that had nothing to do with answering questions about the safe husbandry of captive reptiles. Sorry if this makes either of you mad but I'm asking both of you to take it elsewhere. I'm not saying either of you is right or wrong, but to a visitor who comes here asking a question it makes all of us appear unprofessional and childish.
The deletion had nothing to do with the content of either of your posts, but rather the lack thereof.

Remember folks, posting here should be viewed as a priviledge, not a right. Like any other priviledge, if abused, it can be revoked.
Re-read (or in some cases apparently, read for the first time) the SHHS mission statement and remember what this site is all about! http://www.venomousreptiles.org/about/about
It's not about your ego, it's not a place to whine or point fingers or argue whether you should be able to freehandle taipans while wearing a melanoleuca necklace at age six, or whatever. It's about the Safe Keeping, Husbandry, Conservation and Educating people about VENOMOUS SNAKES.
It's not designed as a place for you to try to impress people. Not with your freehandling skills, stand up comedy skills, or anything else. It's about INFORMATION.
Nobody is going to be a post-nazi and delete every post that isn't directly on topic or anything like that, but come on, this place has been sliding downhill fast! We HAVE to step in and guide it back to the top as the number one place for venomous info on the web.

I've been so sick I've been asleep for about two days. I think. Anyway, I am too sick to defend anything anyway. I wasn't looking forward to reading anything here, but it turned out okay.
