Do you think seeing pictures of venomous snake bites helps keep you safe?? Just woundering cause i belive it works...I have pictures of bites all over my reptile room weather it be venomous or not...Any one else feel this way??

Shayne, I believe that using photos of bites can be of use in educational talks, although you should probably not use some of the more graphic ones, as some folks are somewhat squeemish.
As far as having photos of bites in your snake room, if they help remind you to be carefull, and the potential damage a bite can do, then they are serving a good purpose.
I do object though to the photos of snake bite victims who have undergone a Fasciectomy, as this procedure produces a very graphic photo of a wound caused by a doctors treatment and not the bite itself. It has been mis-used by many ill informed doctors treating compartment syndrom and swelling. Many times this procedure was not necessicary to use in the treatment of a bite, and many times the bite victims are left with horrable scars that were just not needed.

Of course it works ! At least for me :)
Every time I handle my puff adders or my wdb those horrible images come to my mind so I am twice as careful...
