just bought my first edb and it is badass...bad-badass
its got a real nice color and it is at least as pissy as any snake i have owned...just a little personality to go with it's rep....just wondering though, until i can make more room(check the classifieds) it will have to reside in a very large enclosure with a canebrake of similar size and another cane thats half as big....should i worry a lot about anyone eating anyone else....they seem comfortable piling up on each other but i wanna make sure....could be an expensive meal if one decides to taste test another...and to solve my problem someone could just buy the others...hint hint...

I would recommmend housing it by itself as soon as you can, but they should be okay. Watch them closely when feeding. I have not known the large species of Crotalus to be ophiophagus, but there's always a chance. Adamanteus are impressive animals, & a pleasure to keep.

I like to keep them seperate but it is perfectly OK to house them together I do it often. I never have had and bad results. If your lucky you may get a cross bred rattler. A few wild edb/canebreaks have been found in GA and SC Also the Riverbanks Zoo has a nice one on display.
