Come on down to NE NC- I'm finding canes weekly it seems. Not as mant cottons this year, as well as coppers.

Hi, I am new to this site and herping all together. I live in eastern, NC Morehead City/ Atlantic Beach area and would love some tips on eastern nc herping. I went out one night from work and found a small Copperhead and a large Canebrake Rattler. Needless to say I was in heaven! But since then I have seen nothing. Very frustrating as my Son (12 yrs old) wants to go and see some but we have seen zippo. Where are you in NE NC? Would be interested in some good areas to drive around and let the kids see some nice snakes and take some good pics. any help would be greatly appreciated.
