How do I get information reguarding regulations and restrictions on keeping venomous reptiles in Bakersfield, ca. Kern County. Is there a website?

Most city county codes and regs are easily accessable through the city websites. Just google the city you are curious about and pick the one that says "Official Website of ...."
According to the regs wild/exotic animals need permits but their definition of wild/exotic animals does not list reptiles but has the disclaimer of other animals not listed as being decided by the director.
