I haven't seen the usual who is going post yet.
Does anyone know if Chris Harper, Karl Betz, Roark Ferguson, Larry Lemon or Al Coritz will be there?
Just wondering who will actually be representing the SHHS.

Littlesnake, last I heard, none of the folks on your list would be attending, due to work schedules, previous commitments, etc.
However, you never know about herpers, they are sometimes prone to making "rocket-runs," and driving long distances on short notice to attend a reptile show.
So, it is always possible that one or two of the folks on your list might just make an apperance.

Yeah I'm taking the family. I bought those VIP tickets thinking it was a limited few but I'm starting to believe other wise. How many VIP tickets have been sold or how many did they offer?
I have a few people I am going to meet even if it's just to say hi. I would like to meet in person a few on your list, maybe next time I guess.

Scott, the VIP tickets are well worth the extra cost if you get there early enough to use them. The number of them sold is quite small compared to the number of folks who will show up when the main show opens. Also, they allow you to attend again on Sunday.
You can get in an hour early, which gives you time to see the animals and talk with the vendors before the crouds come in.
Some of the very best animals are sold that first hour, before the general public ever gets there.
Also, the VIP Ticket gives you a "goodie bag" that has several dollars worth of free stuff in it that is donated by the sponcers of the show.
And you get chances to win prizes on the spin the wheel thing. Before I became a vendor at shows, I won several hundred dollars worth of reptile merchendise on that spinning wheel thingy. Some of the prizes are very nice.
The couple of extra bucks you spend on a VIP pass is a very good investment.

Rumor has it that Roark should show up Sunday. Glad to hear that you will be there Saturday Karl! Other members such as Thomas E, Todd Poole, BW Smith, Chad Minter,John Pullian, Jarad Watts, Just to name a few will be there.
We always offer 100 VIP Tickets.

John, Yeah I got the VIP tickets so I could have that "first pick" at the HOT snakes before the crowd comes in and puts a dent in the selection. However I'm probably not the only one with this in mind. I still have 96 other people behind me wanting to get in first. (I bought 4 VIP tickets and if 100 are offered I at least know 3 people who will not be looking for HOT snakes ;-)
