I'm dragging my younguns (and the wife) out of bed early to drive an hour in order to make the 9 am VIP rush. Hopefully there will be a few things there that I need. I've been saving my allowance for about a year now, just waiting for this show ;)

What kind of venomous snakes will you have at the show? My brother and I are driving up on Sat morning from Western NC.

Rick- we do not answer "out of the blue" questions from people we don't know. Please fill out your profile so we will know more about you and your interest here.

Rick, as Andrew said, we like to know who we are talking with, and their experience level, and will want you to fill in the rest of your profile before you ask any specific questions about venomous reptiles.
However, due to the general nature of your question, let me say this. The Columbia Reptile Show is one of the largest on the East Coast. The Repticon Team brings in the very best of vendors for these shows.
It should be well worth the drive for you and your bother to attend. There will be vendors from all over the country who will have educational exhibits, harmless reptiles, venomous reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and drygoods for sale. There are folks flying in from as far away as Texas, California, and Wisconsin to attend this show.
There is no way anyone could list what animals will be there for you to see, as it will vary from show to show depending on what the individual vendors have at their stores, and what animals were born in their breeding programs this year. But with over 200 vendors bringing animals, there is bound to be animals there that you would have an interest in.
The best thing is to just attend the show and see for yourself what might be there.
Best Regards JohnZ

Sorry Andrew. I didn't remember seeing the screen where you set up a profile. I updated it this morning. I'm looking forward to coming to the expo this weekend in Columbia. I'm sure I'll learn alot.

Thanks John. Like I said to Andrew, I just never saw a place to fill out a profile but I did that this morning. My Dad used to go out with a friend of ours when we lived in NM who was the biggest rattlesnake hunter in the state at that time. He was instrumental in making sure that hospitals had plenty of antivenom. I've always been interested in the venomous snakes but have never owned any myself. Looking forward to the upcoming event.
