Hello Every one.
This is a repost to fill in some missing info and better answer your questions about myself and my forum.
My name is Eric Grace, and I have been into the venomous end of our hobby full time for 2 1/2 years on and off for the past 10 years. Up to this point I have based my hobby on safe handling and husbandry. I now feel it is time to move ahead.
I currently own 1.1 black and white spitting cobras,1.1 red eyed leucistic spitting cobras, 1.1 Blue eyed spitting cobras,1.1 gaboons vipers,1.1 slender hog nose viper,1.1 panamint rattlesnakes,1.2 white lipped vipers,1.0 albino western diamondback, and 1.1 Osage copperheads.
Ok so there's a little run down on me. The forum myself and a few others have created is based on education and preservation of the exotic animal hobby. This not only covers the reptiles but also cats primates and everything in between. www.exoticanimalforums.com
Now let's talk about the class. I'm looking for someone to cover basic snake biology, someone to go into venom, and finally someone to possibly go into different types of venom and how it affects the human body. The class does not have to be taught by one person nor does it need to be a college course.
I feel this class would benefit alot of people including myself. I look at all the information on line and in the books and it is overwhelming. I feel this class would give us a better understanding of the snakes we keep but more important it would give us a foundation to build on.
The most important part of this class in my opinion is the starting point it will provide for everyone. Whether they are just getting into the hobby or looking to move forward in the hobby.
We all have to start somewhere and a lot of us don't have local mentors. I think this would help out a great deal.
Well if you have any questions please feel free to call me or email me. I hope this gives you a better idea of why I feel this class would benefit a lot of people.
I also feel after the first one I would be able to continue learning and take over in time.
Thanks
Eric G.

Hello Everyone!
I'm happy to say we have some people interested in doing different sections of the class. Now I need a little more help. As stated in the other post Biology is a broad topic. I need some help laying out a curriculum.
This is what I have so far.
Ecology
Anatomy
Physiology
venom composition
Husbandry
It's a start but your input is greatly appreciated. Once we have a curriculum I will start looking for people that are willing teach each section.
I would also like to thank everyone for their feedback on the first post. This project is going to take some time and effort to put together. When it is all said and done I feel the time spent on all account will be well worth it.

I just noticed a mistake in my collection 1.1 Blue eyed spitting cobras. That's supposed to be 1.1 blueeyed leucistic cobras. The red and the blue eyed cobras are monocleds /Naja kaouthia
Thanks
Eric G.
