12 years experience, 1 bite. 0 bites from a snake that I was handling, though. My one bite came as I was jogging through the woods to catch up with my uncle. He accidentally stepped on a small copperhead just as I caught up to him. The snake didn't differentiate between the two of us, and I got tagged.

20 years professionally and zero bites...and, hopefully, 20 or more perfect years ahead but that's solely up to me continuing to use proper techniques, common sense, clear mind, and the physical ability. If any of those decline, I'll cut back or stop altogether. A little prayer goes a long way.

going on 7 years. 0 bites. Like a few people said, there's just no excuse. When people get bit, it's usually because they were not paying attention to what they were doing. People like that don't deserve to keep these animals.
