I love my freedom, and would consider leaving a state that had that kind of control. I don't care much for Virginia (not enough herps) but they are very relaxed with thier herp laws. chewwy

Karl,
I know you weren't directing at me and I responded because I failed to inform fully.
I do not keep non-natives and only receive them from time to time. But, I always let the DNR know in advance and when I take possession. When delivered, I call to inform them, as well. I have always given them that respect. But they ALWAYS treat me as a criminal.
I got the lowdown on cobraman6911 and have discussed the situation with the police in his town. We are currently building a case. Any info of any contact from anyone is welcome. Call me if you do not want to post or email me,912.554.1737.
I appreciate this site as it is well thought out and extremely informative.
Anyway, I agree with what you said, no one without permits should keep these animals and if you do, don't cry when you get caught. The DNR said everything here is fine and legal, so no problem for me.

Wow I am glad I came across this it seems I am the topic of conversation once more thanks to biff. Are you in Maryland footburm I should be close to you if you are. Stay away from biff he seems to jump to conclusions quickly about people. It seems every person in Md he thinks is me and if you cross him he will jump on the BOI and slam you also. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED biff is no good!!!!!

easy bob, easy...guilty conscience or what?? I just asked if footburm was you?? i didn't say (or think) anything bad, it's just footburm's manner of writing reminded me of yours...and his story is exactly the same as yours...caught with a green mamba in georgia...then moved to md...gets more hots then says it's okay only if they aren't pets...hmmm, sounds just like you, but I didn't know, that's why I asked...no negative inferences there...
you cooked your own goose on the boi...you didn't need any help from me, and you'll not find a post where i slammed you outside of what you had personally posted there...
i will not respond to any inflammatory type of posts...if you wish to continue this further you need to do it via email...it is listed in my profile...
sorry me asking "footburm" if he was you (how did you know I meant "bob kirk"?? hmmm) offended you...

The BOI is a place for folks to complain about bad deals the only problem being the guys that run it are one sided. If I jump on there and report someone to be a crook before that person can say anything or give a reason everyone is against them from the jump. As for you Steve I just thought it was funny every time someone tells a story that you think it is me when I seen it was you asking the question I knew you meant me BOB Kirk. I have never done anything to you or said anything negative about you I was under the impression that we were friends in snakes you know I have not done any of what the BOI has said you have met me in person. As for footburm I find it strange his story is similar to mine probably another idiot just foolin with me I dont know why this continues. Maybe he has a real story to tell. If anyone know a phone number in Maryland to dispute the DNR website where it states non-native venomous can be kept but not as pets I would like to have it because I have called Monica Powell and emailed her 100 times with no answer and she is the permit women I now keep my collection in chester co. Pa. so there is no problems I have alot of money in it. I will say this for the people I met while I lived in Ga. they were some of the best reptile people I have met, the ones up here are a bunch of know it all yankees (that ought to get em fired up, run with it biff on the BOI) I am with neil about that place I dont care what those people think. I will not bring my snakes out of Pa. until someone can give me in writing what the laws are in Md. As for you guys in Ga. you have more refrain than I do I cant just keep certain ones without all the rest. Biff no hard feeling it just seems to me you have issues with me for some reason I wish you would tell me what I did to you.
