no this post was not pointless, i have been getting messages on youtube for advice, and when i told them to go here they said some of you were 'assholes' and rude, and there is no exuse for that, so no this post was not poinless, and i was just making things smooth, not stirring things up, you say i reacted bad look what some of you are doing, arin

Okay then.
Here's how we will end this one.
Thank you, Arin, for pointing out that we have disappointed some younger people who didn't get the responses that they felt they deserved.
Perhaps you, and the rest of the YouTube crowd, will be able to answer their questions without any critical advice or recommendations. Good Luck.
For what it is worth - this is a repeating cycle.
Younger people come here and through whatever dissatisfaction that develops, they call the older experienced keepers various derogatory names and leave.
Over a period of time, they come back and tell us how horrid we are for not recognizing how great they are and how this site is going down hill because we do not change our beliefs.
I would say that posting "there are alot of a**holes, who just dont give a crap, some of you act like you are the only people that have a right to do this, so think about it," is not, in any way, a smoothing over of anything. It is condescending and rude at best.
So.
Thank you for your concern.
