<<Wednesday afternoon, representatives from the cable show "Untamed and Uncut" interviewed Thornton, as well as Pastor Steve Mock and vehicle owner Joe Cherny.
>>
This is unreal, I hope they filmed it in Europe to be realistic, and I can’t believe the name of pastor Mock which just rhymes with something else....and the church treasurer and car owner’s name Cherny, in Czech it means BLACK...is this real or set up???

Snake incident to be featured on 'Animal Planet'
The program "Untamed and Uncut" filmed in Punta Gorda this week.
PUNTA GORDA -- As an "Animal Planet" TV crew set up thousands of dollars in equipment near the lake behind First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda Wednesday afternoon, Gail Thornton watched in amazement.
"I can't believe we're going through all of this over a stupid snake," the church office assistant said, laughing. "It just blows my mind."
Nearly six months after a 13-foot red-tail boa constrictor wrapped itself around the engine of a 2004 Buick LeSabre in the parking lot of the Airport Road house of worship, the incident is still garnering national attention.
Wednesday afternoon, representatives from the cable show "Untamed and Uncut" interviewed Thornton, as well as Pastor Steve Mock and vehicle owner Joe Cherny.
"Untamed and Uncut" airs Sundays and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. It features real footage and re-enactments of often dangerous encounters with animals. The segment filmed this week, complete with a re-enactment shot Tuesday, will air sometime this summer.
The fact that a snake, often represented as a serpent in the Bible, appeared in the Presbyterian Church parking lot was not lost on Cherny, who is the church's treasurer.
"I was saying to the good Lord," he recalled, "'Is this a good omen or a bad omen?'"
Cherny, a 77-year-old Punta Gorda resident, said it was unexpected when he found the snake under his car, before it found its way into his engine and was removed by Animal Control. It's been just as exciting to enjoy his brief encounters with fame afterward.
Following the incident last November, footage and pictures of the snake rescue with animal control made their way to CNN, the "Today" show and more.
Thornton, too, had her moment in the spotlight.
"I was calling my kids, saying, 'Watch, I'm on TV!'"
The Sunday before the snake appeared, Thornton recalled, one of the church's members prayed that God would bring some attention to First Presbyterian and the work it does in the community. Six months later, the 13-foot snake that hid in Cherny's LeSabre continues to bring free publicity.
"People say, 'Oh, the snake church!'"

I would not waste any time watching Animal Planet.
They sensationalize almost every animal show they produce.
It is extremely unlikely that the Boa Constrictor (if it was even that) was 13 feet long. Perhaps it was a Python ?
I caught a Black Ratsnake once in a Presbyterian Church parking lot. Perhaps Animal Planet will want to film me for next weeks episode ? After all, it was a big, dangerous Black Ratsnake, and surly it was there on a devine mission, to draw attention to that church ?
Best Regards
