hi guys,
writing all the way from South Africa.
as some of you may know its breeding season coming up for us herpers in the southern hemisphere and i'm going be purchasing a juvi gaboon and maybe a pair.
i was wondering about the following:
1. should i keep them seperate and if so in tubs?
2. should i go for a heat pad underneath or a heat light above?
3. what is the best substrate? i was thinking potting soil with bark chips ontop?
4. what are the ideal temps (degrees celcius) and humdity %?

Gaboon Vipers are not recommended as beginner venomous.
I would caution you to work with someone else who keeps them so that you can learn first-hand about their temperment and actions.
