My wife, son and I visited Rob Carmichael's Wildlife Discovery Center yesterday morning on our way to the Milwaukee Zoo. Complete pleasure of an experience. Rob and his staff member Lindy gave us a tour. What a nice place and some beautiful snakes. Lots of gorgeous rattlers, an awesome B. nasicornis and B. parviocula to name a few. I will be posting some photos on Flickr shortly. I would totally encourage anyone in the Chicago area to pay a visit. It was great talking snakes with Rob while admiring the collection.
Absolutely first class facility run by a first class guy.

I got to do a little bit of bussiness with Rob, and he is a great guy. I would love to see his place, but being 16 years old and in Oklahoma it just doesn't work out.
He's a first class guy for sure.

Thanks for the nice words everyone. My facility is a work in progress but we are slowly but surely getting to where I hope to be. Bottom line is that we have an incredibly impressive and healthy collection and as funds become available, we will continue to make facility/exhibit improvements. Cheers, Rob
