Use caution folks, as the classified ad below is most likely a scammer trying to steal your money.
The ad says "Different Species Of Ball Pythons For Sale"
Anyone notice anything wrong with that title ?
Also, inside the ad, we see that the person does not have any information filled out in their profile. That is also a strong indication that it is someone trying to cheat you.
Also, do you notice they list all kinds of fancy ball pythons. Almost a ball python candy store. Just how many legitimate breeders have all those types available ? If they were that legitimate, they would be using a business name.
Also, notice this from the ad: "We have ball python Snakes and Other Species which are not mention in the list below available now."
Anyone notice what is wrong with that sentence ?
Also, notice that they are using a gmail account. Scammers often use gmail or yahoomail.
Also, note there is no phone number. When scammers do provide phone numbers, they often include country codes that are not in the U.S.
Normally I would just delete a classified ad like this one, but am leaving it up to help educate folks here, and hopefully you will not let folk like that trick you into sending money to them.
Al and Karl monitor the classified ads, and have some sort of procedure they like to use to contact this person to see if it is a scammer or not. So, I will let them do that. And it is very likely the ad will be deleted by them, but in the mean time, you folks here can learn from it.
The scamsters are getting better and better at posting legitimate looking ads. Be careful folks. If you contact the folks in the ad, and they quote you prices for those snake that are too good to be true, then it is too good to be true, and you will end up loosing any money you send to them.
