If you enjoy reading about historical herpetological adventures, then I strongly suggest reading this book. Written in a manner that takes you into the way of the deep South, this adventure/biography will give you great enjoyment as you are taken from the plantations of South Carolina all the way to the deep jungles of Belize. Heyward Clamp has shown in his first book that he can write a great story line, and keep you entertained through out it.

Yep, it is great that Heyward has written a book about his snake hunting adventures.
I am anxiously waiting for the copies that I ordered to arrive.

I saw him at Daytona (Like most of you) but desided on Mr. Hubbs books (Common Kinsnakes and his smaller Rattlesnake book) I now wish I picked this book up too.

Buying a copy of Adventures of a Carolina Snake Hunter directly from Heyward, is like buying a copy of Snakes, and Snake Hunting directly from Carl Kauffeld.
Hopefully, Heyward will have a table at the November Columbia Show, and give folks a second chance to buy his book then.

My copy arrived yesterday, and I read that sucker cover-to-cover and loved every page. I kinda grimaced about shelling out twenty bucks plus postage, but it was worth every dime. I know I\'ll be reading it again, and I\'ll stick it on the shelf beside Kauffeld for now.

I just went to that website @ 8:40pm. Sunday evening and found them sold out already. Dang, must be a good book.
