For some of you this is a reality but for those lucky enough to live in a state that still believes in, "The land of the free" what would you keep if Venomous was outlawed or is it Venomous or nothing for you? Thoes of you who can't keep Venomous in your state can also chime in with what you work with now.
I would fill the empty cages with a larger King snake collection and probably move towards more Indigo species besides my 2.2 Texas Indigos. I may try the Rainbow Boa's...

Since my son was born, I have been hot free. I have kept myself busy with Corn snakes, a rescued Ball, and a recently acquired Morelia spilota cheynei. I am hoping to resume with venomous in the next 12-18 months.

When keeping venomous becomes criminal, only the criminals will have venomous.
They'll get my venomous when they pry my cold, dead fingers from them.

Craven,
I know what you mean. I would be scared I would get bit by an exotic, could I keep a staight face when I had to explain that I was out in the in the backyard and some escaped Green Mamba bit me (Wink, Wink) Oh the benifits of living in Florida, even a crappy lie could be so true.

This isn't a question if we would break the law... I guess the topic sort of went off course. The question is, what would you keep (King snakes, Milk snakes etc.. NON-Venomous) if venomous was illegal.
Again, This isn't a question if you would keep venomous against the laws.

I currently keep (in addition to my small group of native GA venomous):
Colombian Rainbow Boas
Rosy Boas
Rubber Boas
Sand Boas
California Kingsnakes
Greybanded Kingsnakes
Desert Kingsnakes
Variable Kingsnakes (thayeri)
Honduran Milksnakes
Black Pine Snakes
Bull Snakes
Sonoran Gopher Snakes
San Diego Gopher Snakes
Great Basin Gopher Snakes
Far and away, the largest part of my collection is my Rosy Boas. For me it was never any form of elitism keeping venomous. I only keep snakes I like and I like the indigenous venomous ones every bit as much as the other snakes I keep. When they are illegal to keep, I will expand my Rosy Boa collection.

PS - I hope this stayed more to the intent of the topic. KHB

I would put more effort into breeding my carpet pythons, and I've always had a thing for rat snakes. I would probably have a nice collection of them, especially the exotic species. And probably some king snakes. Take care, Marty
