No what Jared? No you wouldn't keep any Non Venomous snakes?
Some how, maybe not reading the original post, this has turned into, Would you keep Venomous snakes if they were illegal. I don't get it!!!!!
The question is guys, what snakes would you keep if Venomous was illegal. As in, would you collect King snakes, Rat snakes, Rosy Boa's or what.... I'm not attacking or asking anyone to admit they would break the law LOL!

I think most of the people who post on this form are very rightous. If some law came down that venomous were a "no-no", they would sell thier hots to someone in a legal state and go on from there. I love Kings and Rat Snakes. I just have to get the right yellow rat and I'm good.

I think if this became a reality, I would give my snakes to someone/somewhere that I know would give them care that I do and I would probably get some more Drymarchon species.

1.0 Mexican Black King
1.0 Eastern Kingsnake
1.0 Gray Banded King
1.0 California King
1.0 Corn Snake

1.0 Arizona Mtn King
1.0 Desert King
1.0 Brooks Fla king
0.0.1 Thayer's King

Actually if it became a reality in my state, I'd look for another place to live. I'm fortunate to work for a company that has offices in every state, and many other countries. Transfers aren't that difficult. Might as well live where you can do what you enjoy without breaking the law. Take care, Marty
