It is nice to know that there is at lease one biologist in Florida who has a bit of sense.
Sounds like Mr. Wasilewski is conducting science in the correct fashion.
He is not pulling numbers and statistics out of thin air, like some USFWS and USGS "biologists," and some Florida University "herpetologists" have been known to do in resent times.
Too bad you can not clone him, and use the clones to replace all of the money grubbing "scientists" and political folks who are all clamoring for a part of the Everglades Restoration Act money.
