Stacy you are young and ambitious.As we are trying to work togather.What you are doing here is divide and conquer it is not working.If you do not like this site or its moderators leave the site.Complaininmg will not help.If usark comes to Texas I will attend the acution and donate to it.What I will do is also let you vent all you want just tell me how it is working for any of us.Wait it's not.All of this anger at every one come one what is the agenda ,to help.Well that will never work ever.Yes most of us so called old timers are a bit of the no it all types and can be real buts.The truth is you have no idea what each and every one of us has done in or for this hobby and with your anger you may never know.Relax a bit as anger will not save us .You have a passion attacking the SHHS site moderators will not help us if you want to help be the bigger guy and find a way that works..Thanks ..Archie

This statement is not fair to me as a predominant venomous keeper, as I donated items for the USARK auction in November when I vended at the Columbia Show. I did not attend it, cause I did not want to buy items for myself.
I care, and my concern is for keeping all reptiles and amphibians, so please make note that I am doing as much as I can on my part.

Paul makes a good point.
The venomous vendors give a lot of things to the USARK auctions. I know I donated books and snake hooks in the past. However, they do not donate venomous snakes, due to the obvious problems in doing that.
Most of the auctions are selling lizards, non-venomous snakes, arachnids, and caging stuff, that many venomous vendors would have no interest in buying.
That is probably more of why they do not attend, than a lack of interest in helping USARK.

Wow Archie , i never thought that trying to help clear something up between a couple of friends was " Divide and Conquer " .I am not " venting " anything . Don't treat me as you do a few of the younger cats on this site . I have no problems with this site or it's moderators , and visit it multiple times daily . So where do you see i have a passion for attacking John Z , Karl , or Al ? I questioned Karl 1 time , and you say i have a passion for attacking ? Ya need to look back at some of your posts and look at how you treat people bro . And the truth is , you are one of the very ones i am talking about . We , the Venomous Reptile Community need to get our battle gear on because they are coming for us next , and if if they can pass the python law this summer . . . we don't stand a chance !
All i want to see is the Reptile Nation come together as a whole . Whether your into Hots , Crocs , Turtle , Amphibians , colubrids , Pythons , boas , skinks , or just the vision of Britney Spears half nude with a Albino Burmese Python . Just everyone find that reason you got into this , put one foot in front of the other , and move on from your diferences and work together to promote a safe and responsible hobby , so that Generations to come can enjoy this site , and these facinating creatures in the privacy of their own home for years to come .
I have no problems with anyone on this site and if some may see it that way , i am truly sorry that you feel that way .

I've got that pic of Britney.....Stacy, I think the thread just kept going back to cussing and name calling. That's why Karl closed it, not because of the Columbia Show subject matter. There may have been many comments that he pulled that you never saw, that kept degenerating the conversation, and then he finally just pulled the plug.On past issues, I feel he has been more than fair and has given fair warnings to everyone.I saw no difference on this one. Marty , i know . The thing was a sour situation . I know Karl does a great job , i was just ready to see a resolution to the situation .
