I agree, LEAVE IT ALONE for awhile. Some of those snakes at the shows may have been in a deli cup for a week, boxed up, transported God only knows how far, under who knows what type of temp changes, dehydrated, severely stressed, had tons of people picking them up and looking at them at the show, who knows what else? When I 1st get them home I soak them for hydration.Then I always give them a minimum of a week, preferably 10-14 days in a cage under quarantine,with good temp gradations, hide spots, and water. Then I offer food. If it doesn't show interest in 15-20 minutes, I'll remove it and wait a day or 2 and try again. Remember, snakes can go long periods of time without eating. Let it acclimate, and it should come around. Take care, Marty

Kentucky Reptile Zoo.My dad saw Jim on the tv not long ago and he thinks he is nuts.He said son that man is crazier than you he milks 150 snakes a day.Jim that means he liked you alot and admires what you do.

The venom from the Naja is being used for a new pain med.
