Is there any truth to this rumor that ringneck snakes are lethal to coral snakes. If so please explain? Thanks

Yeah, I read that too somewhere. What I do know is here in Central Florida the Eastern Coral has a preference for the S. Ringneck and it makes up a large part of their diet. - Mike

NO WAY! too small and no venom. Ring necks eat salamanders and are corals #1 favorite diet.

I had a coral that fed on dekayi and baby ratsnakes, tried feeding it a ringneck once. it regurged and died that night.
