I also read on some other forums that you idiots were arguing that the surgery is painful. Boohoo ! The snake is in pain for 5 minutes. Now the world is going to end. What did you scratch your knee to many times when you were a kid ? You people seriously need to grow up use have pissed me off so bad that I seriously plan I starting the largest venomoid operation in the U.S and just giving the first 500 snakes away for free at reptile shows. Your demented little campaign against reason seriously needs to be put to an end. My snake isn't even for sale any more. I am going to do shows with it after I have the follow up surgery done just to show people how great venomoids are .

Altering any animals natural physiology for your own good, or just because you can, or to cater to your lack of masculinity is just plain foolish. You are not going to find many sympathetic people here as long as you keep posting that garbage. I can’t stand how one can call themselves a “herper,” or a lover of reptiles, and yet subject them to what in essence is “plastic” surgery. I will not even own a dog or cat in which I have to remove any of its natural parts. You are about my age and by posting crap like this you are making it hard for the younger generation of hot keepers to be taken seriously.

Is there something mentally wrong with you people ? You didn't address any of the points I made the intellectual battle was lost on your part what are you just trying to get the last word in. I don't want "sympathy" I want people who are reading this and are undecided to see what fucking clowns you idiots are. I did post scholarly works supporting my claims. I posted the "Reptile Medicine and Surgery" by Douglas R. Mader.
Next, "Altering any animals natural physiology for your own good, or just because you can, or to cater to your lack of masculinity is just plain foolish." No, it's not, science is not stupid, we alter cats and dogs all the time when we neuter them, we alter people when we circumcise them, the animals aren't in the wild they are in captivity where they have all the food and safety they. I am perfectly capable of owning a venomous snake, I owned them my whole life, owning a venomoid is the more reasonable thing to do. This isn't an opinion, it's a fact. The snakes do need the surgery so they don't hurt people, even the best handler can make a mistake. The only reason you wouldn't support venomoids is because you want to feel like you stand for something because you people have no lives. Stop harassing me with your emails. I WILL SEE YOU AT THE REPTILE SHOWS BELIEE ME, I WILL BE THERE WITH FREE VENOMOID SNAKES FOR EVERY ONE.
If you clowns are so concerned with altering animals then why don't you stop making albino and leucistic snakes. The snakes don't need to be albino. Albinism certainly hurts the snake as they are more sensitive to light and more vulnerable as prey items. You don't think designer snakes are exploiting animals ? What do you just believe whatever you want to believe ? It's not ok to alter a snake so that it can't produce venom but an albino, ghost, panda pied ball python is per

So too does 'creating' fake 'dwarf' specimens, by continually breeding the weaklings. Your blanket statement are pointless, and only apply to half of 'us'.
I am not a fan of the genetic alteration of an aminal, either, and am against said 'designer snakes'..

HA HA, this guy is one big broad blanket statement! He is a troll and not worth our collective time. I say we ignore his stupidity until he gets himself banned. Why do people like him frequent these forums anyway? He should be off making a rap video with all that rubbish he spews.

No I agree with him and think that The argument he is making here should rest on its own merits don't bring irrelevant things into this argument. Honestly, if you people really wanted to convince him venomoids were un-ethical you should have approached him civilly instead of cursing him out in emails when you don't even know him. I own a venomoid and would not have gotten the procedure done if I honestly thought it was going to hurt my animal. However, it didn't hurt my animal and it is fine. Don't tell me not to believe what I see in front of me or act like I am a butcher all of my animals are fine and in excellent shape. Why would you say that he should be making rap videos he is arguing for reasonability you people are the ones that started cursing him out in the email and are twisting his statements ?
P.S as for altering animals you know they bred dogs to be more personable and to bring out the traits we like. Are you against dogs to. And you are pro albinos in the email you wrote me you aid I had a beautiful rare snake implying you like morphs which would contradict your position.

I really enjoy reading posts by people who can not spell.
Who wrote you an email about having a rare snake? Rare does not imply albino, or any genetic morph for that matter. More blanket statements.

On page one in the opening statement when Tommy showed an email he got that stated, "You stupid douchebag!!!! Why the fuck would you get a beautiful cobra." He stated the cobra was leucistic. This would indicate that you knew the cobra was leucistic and liked it. Which is hypercritical. And besides are you seriously arguing against morphs to ? Why don't you go harass people who eat snakes and turn them into boots. This guy doesn't seem so bad he is just being safe you should leave him alone. Venomoids are fine I own one the snake is fine it's really not as big of a deal as all of you are making it everyone has a right to make their own decisions. Besides, even the best handlers get bit. Accidents happen , no amount of training can prevent that. Also I see people like him posting venomoids for sale on this site all the time, besides the fact that they are pretty common in the reptile trade.

I have NEVER emailed anyone stating that I liked a human-produced, genetically altered animal. True, I still believe that many of the animals are still beautiful, but I have never made contact with you. I don’t have as big a problem with genetic morphs that can/do occur in nature, as it does happen in the wild on occasion, but am NOT a fan of generation upon generation of selective breeding for human ascetics. I have always preferred animals in their natural state. Where is the fascination if they are removed from this state?
Albinism does occur naturally on occasion, but that isn't the point. I am not a fan of albinos and have NEVER been in contact with you.
Was your statement addressed to ME Dave..? You CERTAINLY have the wrong person if you think that is the case. I have NEVER spoken to you via this site or email, and would not make statements implying that I promote something that I do not.
