There is a gentleman who cruises this site and has been causing trouble. A few weeks ago me and a friend of mine posted some of our snakes for sell mainly Naja kaouthia under our individual profiles.
We started to receive e-mails from a guy named Andy in Goldsboro N.c. He set up deals to buy animals from both of us at the same time well needless to say some werid stuff started happening he stood us both up on numerous ocassions and also started requesting protected animals in his home state which is illegal. So of course we made him aware of the laws and tried to part ways. He continued to call and e-mail us both not knowing we were talking with each other matching up the guys lies. Long story short a week later we were both contacted again by someone named Charles different number and email same city and stupid requests. We confronted him on this and he got defensive and said he knew the Andy guy and that he ripped him off all and all it was all lies he tried to change his name again and it happened all over again by this time he was easy to spot so we stopped responding. That brings us to today when I got a call from one of my REAL customers asking me if I sold my collection I had not. He goes on to tell me that a Bobby from Goldsboro N.C. Had posted albino Naja kaouthia for sale when he contacted him the guy sent him picture of my snakes some of which aren't even for sale telling my customer he bought my collection and my friends in Wilmington. When my customer told me the name was bobby freeman I realized it was the same name of a guy who was suppose to buy some snakes from me so I sent him pics. The date of the first meet "Bobby" stood me up the next time he ask if I'd cross state lines and trade for a yellow andaconda which is now breaking a federal law. Anyways if anyone hears from these (this) guy(s) be careful he's either a troll, scamartist or FWC. Please if anyone else has info this let me know
Thanks

If I may, this sounds like something that would be best handled by reporting to the appropriate law enforcement authorities in SC and here in NC.
It's not enough to be concerned that someone is trying to entice one to do something illegal (or unethical) and to simply notify people here. Reporting to the authorities will not only illustrate your personal integrity, it will also make a positive statement for the community as a whole.
Just my $.02...

Chances are that the poster or responder is law enforcement looking for an easy case. The Federal US Fish and Wildlife are not like your local fish and game or police officers. They don’t have the luxury to sit in the woods and find hunters who are out to break the rules knowingly and willingly. They must make their own cases to justify a pay check and are willing to entrap those who don’t know better to do it. Therefore they frequent online sites looking for those who unknowably fall into the trap of agreeing to sell illegal animals, under new regulations. Trust me our government is looking to shut us down and restrict our rights anyway possible. If they can manage to trick you into a lacey act violation then they have you at their mercy and can take your right to own any animals. Also they can trump the charges and hit you or anyone else who don’t know better with a felony.
On the other side of the coin to is they are out in force attempting to deter those who are looking and willing to do illegal transactions.
Now saying, that I fully support those police and law enforcement officers who work hard to protect and serve and not entrap the unwary or trample on our Constitutional rights. It is just those few who act in the way of the above mentioned post that have forever pushed me not to trust any government official. However those few make up most of US fish and wildlife. Trust me on this issue as I have personally found out that US Fish and Wildlife is a very corrupt agency. They put these traps out all day to traps those, who mean good but don’t know all of the rules and regulations.
So here is some personal advice to those who will listen. Please research the legalities of an online transaction before any dealing is agreed to. I mean check out local, state and federal restriction because a lacey act violation is very easy to run into. Otherwise you too will feel the pressure of the federal criminal justice system and your life turned upside-down.
I would fill you in on every detail but I have legal issues behind their traps so guys and girls be careful and check and recheck all legalities.

Bottom line, if you think something is not on the up and up, and passing the line of lawfullness, report it to the appropriate authorities; even if they are USFWS. There's no need for dialogue, back and forth discussions, etc. It's very possible a sett up is taking place, or, an animal rights extremist is at hand. Either way, when in doubt, just report it and don't engage with the individual in any sort of dialogue.
