I maintain mostly a collection of Cobras monocleds, capes, and banded egyptians. I recently helped out a young man who is moving and it took on his crotalus atrox. Heis an adorable little albino and he is missing several head scales not sure if it's to an injury or if it is part of the scale-less line can anybody help me figure this one out. I have pictures but you can't post pictures with your question so I will make it may avatar pic for easy reference.

That's not uncommon with albino atrox.
Probably due to too much inbreeding.
Sometimes these will fill in as it gets older.
