I don't know what you're talking about "friend." I've "known" Dr. Bryan Grieg Fry for a long time.... before he became "Dr. Fry" in fact. We have a mutual friend in New Mexico, and I have respected him and his work since first we were acquainted.
I'm not angry about anything, and if you can't tell the difference between someone's words posted in jest and those posted in anger, perhaps you should think about studying the English language a bit before you make groundless accusations....
If you READ the thread, you'll actually see that Dr. Bryan Grieg Fry confirmed my statement that False Water Cobra bites do not present as much of a danger to the recipient, so why on earth would I attack him for providing support for my own statement?
Quote:
The Boiga venoms are packed full of neurotoxic 3FTx (three-finger toxins), the same toxins that are the hallmark of elapid venoms. The toxicity is on par with many elapids, the yield can be 10-20 milligrams but the delivery is not as efficient as in snakes with more highly evolved fang architecture. Typically bites will not be dangerous but very large specimens may be able to cause clinically notable symptoms (but very unlikely to be lethal).....The venoms are more potent than the Hydrodynastes (which has much weaker venom).
Cheers
Bryan
End of quote
As to my last post in this thread. I was making a joke about swelling his head.... fortunately, I don't expect I'll have to explain the part about it being a joke to the person it was addressed to.... go back and read it again... S L O W L Y this time to see if you can pick up on the humor of it....
As far as the level of maturity in regard to posting here... how about being mature enough to identify yourself the next time you decide to post a personal attack with absolutely no merit. I have no intention of "squaring off" with Dr. Fry and just one more time for the slow witted.... he didn't tell me I was wrong... he agreed with me....
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Try using yours before pushing that little "post" button on the screen.
