i am also a born-again Christian.....i was in the navy and felt like my religious beliefs had diminished-i am now out of the military and i've met a girl who has helped me to beleive again.

i am a devout Christian and graduated from Lubbock Christian University. I work at Ellen Trout Zoo in Lufkin Texas, and am a Herp intern on weekends. On M-F I work in the zoo education department. I just ordered a ball from reptile city. If any of you know of any non venomous or hot snakes hopefully juvenile that you do not want I would happily taking them into my collection. I will be attending to Texas Tech in Aug to get a Masters in Zoology.

I am also Pentecostal (Assembly of God)and love snakes. I was in a school of ministry for 2 years before I became involved in law enforcement. I have been herping since I could walk with no one to really teach me because everyone else always thought (and still does)that I was crazy. So, I began educating myself. Over the years I have had more snakes than I can count.
Right now I have
0.0.1 Southern Copperhead
0.0.1 California King
I have recently been out hunting every day after work for a young cottonmuoth. I plan on purchasing an Eastern Diamondback next month and maybe a Western Hognose.

I am also a christian (nondenominational). I have always loved reptiles, snakes being my favorite. I have been keeping snakes since I was 3 years old and take pride in always having very healthy animals. Boas are the only nonvenomous species I really keep, but I keep many different species of cobra, Vipers and pit vipers. I used to play drums for my church and then got out of church for many years and am trying to get things back on track with my walk with God. It's really good to know there are many christians in the herping "hobby". If anyone would like to talk or give advice to beeter my walk with God I am all ears.
