I have a snake I wish identified. It came out of The jungle close to Iquitos. It was only a foot, and had a solid brownish color with a stripe at the bottom of each side(horizontal). It was thick bodied and I saw little seperation from neck to head(almost like an anaconda) which the guy had in another bag he had got from someone two days earlier near the Amazon. I have pictures. dear ian,
i would lov to tell u the name of the species u saw , but unfortunately the details about the snake is too less. (which is not suficiant for identification). it will be helpful if u kindly send me a photograph of the snake.
if i hev any developments over here i will surely let u know.
