i know this is a little off topic but how do you hibernate a water turles like common snappers? i have no room in my house but i would like to keep them throughout the winter but am not sure how to hibernate them. if you know a good site that explains how to do it, or you can just tell me it would be greatly appriciated. thanks!

I wouldn't hibernate them unless you keep them outside
and then I would just release them until next spring.
I raise Alligator snapping turtles and keep them warm all year around with submersable heaters.
