can coral snakes that will refuse to eat in captivity be force fed as a permanent means to feeding them like with a pinky press, and can corals be force fed pinkys or mice ,or does it have to be lizards or other snakes thanx

I wouldn't do that. If you have to force feed it, than it's not worth keeping. If you give it some kind of natural substrate, darkness and access to ribbon snakes, worm snakes and anoles, you shouldn't have any trouble. I would only keep a wal-mart 60 watt blk lite over it's aquarium.

I agree with cottonmouth. In my opinion, coral snakes are rather "dainty" little creatures.If you force feed your coral snake everytime it needs to eat, eventually the snake WILL stress out and die. If you don't have a supply of small snakes to feed it, I would let it go or donate it to someone who could properly take care of it.
