northern or southern copperhead

ive always wondered this and i figure this is the best place to bring this up. i live near charlotte north carolina, ive always wondered if our copperheads are the northern or southern copperheads, and if im not mistaken i have always heard northern copperheads are very difficult feeders, is this so?

In NC, those will be Southern Copperheads..

you most likly have southerns but im not for sure i have kept both and i think they are both good feeders the northerns may not eat right after capture and not as ofter but they still eat good but they usualy stop eating in the winter even if you dont cool them or at least mine have the southerns like to eat to much lol.

North Carolina has both Northern and Southern copperheads, but I would have to say Charlotte would most likely have Southerns.
