I had the same problem until I heard that they will take either rd kill squirrels or ones that have been just killed. EDB will only take on average 1 squirrel every couple months.

Little more info on EDB if possible. Is it wild caught or captive born? A baby, an adult? How long has it been off feed? What size snake, what size enclosure? Is there a hide spot available? Temp?I have been told and read on this forum that wild caught adult EDB's for the most part, do not do well in captivity. If it is a wild caught adult and will not feed it would be best to return it to the very spot it was captured or as close as possible. Best of luck with it. EDB's are my favorite.

First, download the captive care sheet on EDB's in the file library. See if there's any info there that will help you. Once you have fulfilled all of the requirements in the care sheet, then we'll go to plan B.

Chris is right, check ou the captive care for that awesome snake. Mine was wild caught and wouldn't even look at a domestic rat. Roark Ferguson gave me some good feeding advise for the wild caught ones with the squirrels and it's been great ever since. She is only taking one about every 10 weeks.
