I have a Mid-west collapsable; it works well except when extending or collapsing. It's not smooth even when loosening the collar all of the way. and sometimes collapses when pressure is applied to the end of the hook.
I'm a big MWT fan. The others I have are top notch but this one leaves alot to be desired, however, It is easy to pack, so I can throw it into my suit case no problem.
