Hi:
I see we all found something else to banter back & forth that is not herp related. She has a unique outlook on things and I enjoy her writings. Her postings are at least signed "The Phantom" and she is a regular, so I have no problem with her remaining anonymous. Just like my "handle is "phobos" hers is "The Phantom". The only difference is she has not filled out a profile. By the way, if you haven't picked up on my pronouns usage "The Phantom" is a female.

It's nice to be appreciated. I have deemed it appropriate to keep my identity anonymous for a few different reasons. Venomous Herpetoculture is like a religeon to me. The anonymous position isn't really that HUGE of a deal, but what is is providing sound advice for other "would be" and already existing venomous herpetoculturists while seeking to further contribute to the hobby. I have VERY strong, opinionated, and conservative philosophies regarding the best interests of the hobby, it's future, the animals, and the keepers. It suits me to offer my time as a loving service rather than take any sort of credit for the information I provide. As I am known by few w/in the community, I also appreciate the liberty to offer just criticism w/o my points being taken personally as an individual. This way is easier to avoid potential conflicts, which I despise. Bingo, Karl.
I am the worst about returning e-mails. It's not that I don't enjoy the fellowship, I do. I am also up to my neck w/ work, and don't have much time for casual chit chat anymore. It sucks sometimes. I come here only when I have time.
I'll never tell, but thank you guys anyway.

I'm sure the"I have spoken" was probably just a joke.
Personally I don't care who he is as long as he keeps giving good advice and helpfull info.So phantom,thanks and keep up the good work!

I think the Phantom is doing a good job of advising and giving great info to thoes of us that ask for it. Myself I think he/she very well could be one of the well know herpers in or comunaty. So even thoe we dont know hes/her name, I say thanks for all the good info and advise Phantom and lets leave it at that "huu"?.....Thanks Phantom......Happy herping Wally
